These are the parts you will need for your PC to run properly. You need at least one of each of these parts in your shopping cart:
Processor and Motherboard
This is the heart of your PC, so choose wisely.Intel and AMD processors are both high quality and will get the job done for your PC needs.Processors and Motherboards have been put together so that you don’t have to worry about compatibility issues.
Case
This is what houses everything, you can choose Mid Tower or Full Tower, Mid Tower is the most common, Full Tower is the same, just bigger.
Internal Hard Drive
This is your storage device, where everything is saved.You can choose multiple hard drives, including External Hard Drives, but you need at least one Internal Hard Drive.
Memory
This is also referred to as RAM, you need at least 1GB in order to run your Operating System.The more RAM you have, the faster your PC will perform and be able to multi-task.
Operating System
More commonly referred to as Windows, this is required as an environment to access your PC.If you plan on using another Operating System, such as Linux, you could pass on Windows, but that option is for advanced users only.Easy PC will not install Linux for you, only Windows.
Internal Optical Drive
These can be DVD drives or Blu-Ray drives.The PC needs these in order to read discs.
Power Supply
A PC can’t run without power!If you are building a gaming PC, Easy PC recommends a 500W power supply or higher.
Those are all the parts you'll need to build a working PC. If you want to add on, these parts are considered optional:
Extra Hard drives Everyone likes more storage!
Extra Optical drives If you plan on burning a CD from a CD, an extra Optical drive will be necessary.
Sound Card Great for sound and video editing and gaming, or if you want to connect your PC to your home theater.
Video Card A must for any gaming PC or graphics-intensive work.
Internal Card Reader SD cards, Memory Sticks, and many other formats are supported to directly load images and video from today's cameras and other devices.
Monitor If you don't have any kind of display at home, you'll need a monitor to complete your PC.
SSD If you have the need for speed, SSD drives will deliver! Faster bootup and access times make loading programs extremely fast.
